I International & Regional Flights

Provisions of Civil Aviation Administration of China:

The volume of each liquid container carried by passengers on international and regional flights departing from domestic airports shall not exceed 100 ml. Containers with a volume that exceeds 100 ml, whether the container is full or not, must be checked.

Containers of liquid items should be packed in a transparent plastic bag that can be re-sealed. The volume of the bag shall be no more than 1 L. Each passenger can carry only one bag on one flight. Bags that exceed this limitation should be checked.

Transparent plastic bags with liquid items will be security screened separately.

Goods purchased on flights or at duty-free shops at the airport shall be packed in sealed transparent plastic bags. The bags shall not be opened by passengers. Shopping receipts are necessary for inspection.

A certain amount of liquid dairy products for passengers with babies and essential liquid medicine for diabetics or other medical reasons can be carried along with the passengers thru security screening.

Passengers violating the above provisions shall be dealt with per applicable regulations.

ii Domestic Flights

Provisions of Civil Aviation Administration of China:

Passengers on domestic flights are not allowed liquids in carry-on baggage, and liquids shall be placed in checked baggage, in accordance with relevant regulations.

Passengers may carry a small amount of cosmetics for personal use on the journey. Only one container of each category can be carried by the passenger and the volume shall not exceed 100 ml. The containers should be packed separately and go through open-bottle inspection.

Passengers transferring from International flights are allowed to carry duty-free liquid items with receipts that are packed in sealed transparent plastic bags and will proceed through security screening.

Passengers with babies can apply for complimentary liquid dairy products provided by airline companies when purchasing tickets. Essential liquids for diabetics or for other medical reasons can be kept by aircrew after security screening.

Passengers violating the above provisions shall be dealt with per applicable regulations.
