Declaration Channel

For all goods that need to be declared to Customs or which are controlled products, passengers must complete a “Customs Declaration Form” and proceed thru the Declaration Channel.

Nothing-to-Declare Channel

Passengers with nothing to declare to customs, and who are not carrying any controlled products, shall proceed thru the Nothing-to-Declare Channel.

Goods to Declare

01

Animals and plants, and products made of animals and plants, micro-organisms, biological products, human components, and blood products;
02

Articles worth more than RMB 5000 (including RMB 5000 cash) for personal use;
03

Articles worth more than RMB 2000 for non-resident passengers intending to leave in China;
04

Alcohol (containing more than 12% alcohol) of a volume more than 1500 ml; more than 400 cigarettes; more than 100 cigars; more than 500 g of cut tobacco ;
05

More than RMB 20,000 in cash, or cash in foreign currency equivalent to more than 5000 US dollars;
06

Separately-transported baggage, goods, product samples, and advertisements;
07

Historical relics, dying-out animals, plants and related products, biological species resources, gold, silver and other precious metals.
08

Cameras, camcorders and laptop computers valued at over ￥5000 for personal use.

Other articles to be declared to the Customs.

All varieties of weapons, simulated weapons, ammunition, and explosives;

Counterfeit currencies and counterfeit securities;
03

Prints, roll films, photos, discs, movies, tapes, video tape, computer storage media and other articles that impair the politics, economics, culture, and morals of China.

All varieties of potent poisons;
05

Opium, morphine, heroin, marijuana, and other highly addictive narcotic and psychoactive drugs;
06

Fresh fruits, vegetables, live animals (certain dogs and cats excluded), products made of animals and plants, pathogenic micro-organisms of animals and plants, insect pests and other harmful organisms, animal carcasses, soil, materials of transgenic organisms, relevant plants and animals in countries and regions where there is an epidemic, and products of such plants and animals, and other articles that require inspection;

Unsanitary foods, medicine or other articles; such items imported from an epidemic area; and other foods or medicines that may produce or spread infectious diseases;
08

Manuscripts, prints, films, photos, discs, movies, tapes, video tape, computer storage media and other articles that involve state secrets;
09

Rare cultural relics and other relics that are prohibited from leaving China;
10

Endangered and rare plants and animals (including their specimens) and seeds and propagating materials.
